About HollowTree
I founded Hollow Tree Education when I realized there was a huge need for free, student-centered and flexible curriculum around social justice and the modern world. As a 12th grade English teacher, I have always loved writing curriculum, but I found there was less and less time in the day to focus on that work.
Most teachers have so much on their plates that, as much as they would like to write lessons from scratch, they simply don’t have the time. And if you are a parent who is homeschooling, well, we feel you.
There are terrific websites where you can buy curriculum, and there are talented educators selling their plans, but I want Hollow Tree Education to be an organization educators can rely on to offer modern, complete curriculum at no cost.
