North Wind Nails
I started North Wind Nails so I could combine my love of art and cultural anthropology. Though this work, I get to practice the ancient rituals around beauty service and skilled craft, while also making art. My cozt studio is designed for self-care, artistry, comfort, and the ritual space of service. Every appointment begins with a soothing warm herb-infused wrap, followed by the meticulous care of your hands, feet, and nails with the highest-quality tools and small-batch, hand-blended scrubs, lotions, and wax treatments.
My polish collection is curated strictly from independent, women-led artists: small-batch and 10-free artisanal lacquers hand-blended by the Black and Woman-owned indie company Cracked Polish, and professional potted Japanese gels from Kokoist. From natural nail restoration to painterly or sculptural nail art, North Wind Nails offers a quiet harbor of comfort. I am available by private reservation at my Cumberland studio or on location.

A portion of every North Wind booking helps fund mobile prom-prep nail suites for local high schoolers experiencing trauma and or food or housing insecurity and restorative nail services for women staying in crisis shelters, ensuring that dignity, warmth, and personal care are shared throughout our community.
